Well, Hurricane Rita has come and gone, and it proves to be more hype than reality. In any case, here are two pics from the H2 hummer garaged during the two/three-day wait for Rita to go away and for the news to stop talking about it:
Sort of. The front grill of my H2 Hummer is actually covered in flies, but taking it on the cameraphone netted exactly zero flies. Well, you can see some flies if you squint hard enough. Those black smudges? Dead flies.
Oh well. Take my word for it — long distance travel + an H2 Hummer = dead flies on the grill. Lots and lots of dead flies.
After I figured out the domain name for this site, I started snapping pictures using my Motorola Razor camera phone. As you can see, some of the pics came out pretty good. Of course problem was I couldn’t find my USB adapter to download the pics to my computer, so I ended up having to email them to myself. What a pain in the butt. Anyways, here are the pics of my H2 Hummer just sitting in my driveway. If you look closely, you can probably see reflections of me in the Hummer. In a couple of photos, I snapped the pics while holding my nephew. Have no fear, in the future I’ll include some better images using my digital camera.
