Hummer Driving Academy to Open in Bahrain

THE first Hummer Driving Academy outside the US is to be opened in Bahrain, it was revealed yesterday. A celebration is set to take place on March 22 at the Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir, to mark the ground breaking of the Hummer Driving Academy.
Senior General Motors (GM) executives from around the world will attend, including GM Global Product Development vice chairman Bob Lutz and Hummer international operations director Steve Garrity.
Hummer’s official website, www.hummer.com, states that the Hummer Driving Academy in the US is exclusive to owners and structured to increasing drivers’ skill and confidence - enabling them to maximise the impressive off-road capabilities of their vehicles. In addition, Hummer drivers also learn recovery techniques, mapping, trip preparation, proper use of the Global Positioning System and field repairs to round off their learning.
