The Terminator and His Hummer
You could probably trace back the sudden rise in popularity for the Hummer Trucks thanks to movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger, who started showing up on movie sets and movie premieres in his giant Hummer. Quite a site, especially in anal retentive Los Angeles, where driving a Hummer, or a gas guzzler of equal weight, is like committing a crime against humanity by being — gasp! — a Republican.
